The week between January 18th and 22nd 2021 has seen the Promimpresa Euprojects team leading the WISE project partnership in delivering the European Training Module – Learning,Teaching Training Activity C1. The training event, held online, involved 12 professionals of the sector of Adult Education, 2 per partner organisation among their staff members and collaborators. All partners have come together over the course of 5 days in order to deliver the first piloting of the training materials developed during the past months.
These materials constitute the contents of the Intellectual Output 2 “European Training Module – What are social enterprises and why do they enable women to develop their own labour market opportunities.” Over the course of the next months, the contents of the training are also going to be adapted, expanded and structured in the Intellectual Output 3 “Step by Step Guide and WISE Course Manual for Adult Educators”.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Promimpresa has expanded its expertise into online training, both in synchronous and asynchronous format, adapting its existing structures and creating more, innovative solutions to face the challenges of delivering quality training online, thus facilitating the shift into digital distance learning. In this context, Promimpresa has developed a set of in-house branded online platforms: one of these platforms has hosted the WISE training, becoming a hub for contents, methodologies, shared files and hyperlinks, resources, activities and more.
The training agenda included both synchronous and asynchronous individual learning; its structure reflects the common effort of partners in co-leading the sessions. Throughout the training, the methodology and approach adopted were highly participative, collaborative, interactive and non-formal.
Day 1 – Introduction and Team-building
The first session was aimed at welcoming participants, introducing the training agenda, and setting the tone for the upcoming days. All partners led one team-building exercise and then proceeded to explore expectations, aims, fears and hopes for the training, culminating in drafting and signing a shared Group Agreement Contract, outlining guidelines for the group to self-regulate.

Day 2 – Module 1: Understanding Social Enterprise
The second day was dedicated to the first module of the training, aimed at enabling participants to understand the concept of a social enterprise, and the different types of enterprises that can be considered as such.

Day 3 – Module 2: Supporting women from marginalised groups to develop their Social Enterprise idea in the real world
The second module of the training was focused on exploring the needs of women from marginalised groups. Partners discussed the topics of empowerment and emotional intelligence; they then covered some basic strategies for setting objectives and shaping a business idea.

Day 4 – Module 3: Toolkit of effective Business Planning Techniques
The first part of the day included the intervention of a guest speaker, sharing useful approaches for “Applying Community Capital Framework to Women Inclusion”. After this presentation, participants moved into the last content portion of the training, focused on techniques and visual tools for identifying the main components of a Business Plan. Participants then concluded the day performing a profiling exercise, reflecting on the characteristics of both an aspiring entrepreneur and a peer mentor, thus ushering the partnership into the next phases of the project.

Day 5 – Final evaluation and next steps
The last day was dedicated to discussing the development of Intellectual Output 3 and the Next Steps in the project development, including the implementation of National Pilots, and a final evaluation of the training experience. This day also included a brief contribution from one of the founders and current managers of WeGate, an online platform that aims to help women entrepreneurs to start and build up their business with the help of our engaging community and knowledge sharing.
Overall, the training has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from all participants: it represented an opportunity for coming together – albeit physically apart – to share knowledge, experiences, methodologies, success stories and a common passion for community development and women empowerment.

La settimana tra il 18 e il 22 gennaio 2021 ha visto il team di Promimpresa Euprojects guidare il partenariato del progetto WISE nell’implementazione del European Training Module – Learning,Teaching Training Activity C1. L’evento formativo, tenutosi online, ha coinvolto 12 professionisti del settore dell’Educazione degli Adulti, 2 per organizzazione partner tra membri dello staff e collaboratori. Tutti i partner si sono riuniti nel corso di 5 giorni al fine di realizzare il primo pilotaggio dei materiali di formazione sviluppati nel corso degli ultimi mesi.
Questi materiali costituiscono il contenuto dell’Output Intellettuale 2 “Modulo di formazione europea – Cosa sono le imprese sociali e perché permettono alle donne di sviluppare le proprie opportunità sul mercato del lavoro”. Nel corso dei prossimi mesi, i contenuti della formazione saranno anche adattati, ampliati e strutturati nell’Output Intellettuale 3 “Guida step-by-step e manuale del corso WISE per educatori degli adulti”.
Durante la pandemia di Covid-19, Promimpresa ha ampliato le sue competenze nella formazione online, sia sincrona che asincrona, adattando le sue strutture esistenti e creando soluzioni innovative per affrontare la sfida di offrire una formazione online di qualità, facilitando così il passaggio alla formazione digitale a distanza. In questo contesto, Promimpresa ha sviluppato una serie di piattaforme online con marchio proprio: una di queste piattaforme ha ospitato la formazione WISE, diventando un hub per contenuti, metodologie, file condivisi e collegamenti ipertestuali, risorse, attività e molto altro.
L’agenda della formazione comprende sia l’apprendimento sincrono che quello asincrono e individuale; la sua struttura riflette il lavoro comune dei partner nella conduzione delle sessioni. Durante tutta la formazione, la metodologia e l’approccio adottati sono stati altamente partecipativi, collaborativi, interattivi e non formali.
Giorno 1 – Introduzione e Team-building
La prima sessione ha avuto lo scopo di accogliere i partecipanti, introdurre l’agenda della formazione e stabilire il tono per i giorni successivi. Ciascun partner ha condotto un esercizio di team-building; i partecipanti hanno poi avuto modo di esplorare le aspettative, gli obiettivi, le paure e le speranze per la formazione, culminando nella stesura e nella firma di un contratto condiviso di “accordo di gruppo”, che delinea le linee guida per l’autoregolamentazione del gruppo.

Giorno 2 – Modulo 1: Comprendere l’impresa sociale
Il secondo giorno è stato dedicato al primo modulo della formazione, finalizzato a far comprendere ai partecipanti il concetto di impresa sociale e le diverse tipologie di imprese che possono essere considerate tali.

Giorno 3 – Modulo 2: Sostenere le donne di gruppi emarginati nello sviluppare la propria idea di impresa sociale nel mondo reale
Il secondo modulo della formazione si è concentrato sull’esplorazione dei bisogni delle donne provenienti da gruppi emarginati. I partner hanno discusso i temi dell’empowerment e dell’intelligenza emotiva; hanno poi coperto alcune strategie di base per fissare gli obiettivi e dare forma a un’idea di business.

Giorno 4 – Modulo 3: Toolkit di tecniche efficaci di pianificazione aziendale
La prima parte della giornata ha visto l’intervento di un’ospite che ha condiviso approcci utili per “Applicare il Community Capital Framework all’inclusione delle donne”. Dopo questa presentazione, i partecipanti sono passati all’ultima parte di contenuto della formazione, incentrata su tecniche e strumenti visivi per identificare le componenti principali di un Business Plan. I partecipanti hanno poi concluso la giornata con un esercizio di profiling, riflettendo sulle caratteristiche sia di un aspirante imprenditrice che di una mentore, traghettando così la partnership verso le fasi successive del progetto.

Giorno 5 – Valutazione finale e prossimi passi
L’ultimo giorno è stato dedicato a discutere lo sviluppo dell’Output Intellettuale 3 e i prossimi step nello sviluppo del progetto, compresa l’implementazione dei National Pilots, e una valutazione finale dell’esperienza di formazione. Questa giornata ha incluso anche un breve contributo da parte di una dei fondatori e attuale manager di WeGate, una piattaforma online che mira ad aiutare le donne imprenditrici ad avviare e costruire il loro business con l’aiuto della nostra comunità coinvolgente e la condivisione delle conoscenze.
Nel complesso, la formazione ha ricevuto un feedback estremamente positivo da parte di tutti i partecipanti: ha rappresentato un’opportunità per riunirsi – anche se virtualmente – per condividere conoscenze, esperienze, metodologie, storie di successo e una passione comune per lo sviluppo comunitario e l’empowerment femminile.
