Overview & Methodology

Navigating European funding mechanisms requires moving beyond theoretical concepts into practical project management. This 12-hour operational course bridges the gap between institutional priorities and official Webform Application requirements, equipping school staff to write high-scoring proposals.

Led by experienced educators and active project designers, the training focuses on practical execution:

  • Logical Framework Approach (LFA): Establish clear internal coherence between identified needs, SMART objectives, planned activities, and target outcomes before accessing the Webform.
  • Analysis of Approved Proposals: Deconstruct real, high-scoring application examples to understand award criteria, scoring benchmarks, and evaluator expectations.
  • Webform & Administrative Setup: Step-by-step guidance through each application module, including OID registration, budget mechanics, and platform navigation.
  • AI Tool Integration: Apply custom AI prompts and tools to accelerate desk research, structure narrative sections, and refine proposal text.
  • Horizontal Priorities: Seamlessly embed Inclusion & Diversity, Digital Transition, Environmental Sustainability, and Active Participation into your project’s baseline architecture.

Course Structure & Syllabus

The course is delivered across six interactive, two-hour modules structured to guide participating school teams step-by-step through every phase of project formulation and Webform drafting:

Module 1:
Erasmus+ Architecture & Key Platforms
  • KA1 Overview: Exploration of Key Action 1 funding rules, mobility formats, award criteria, and evaluation priorities.
  • Platform Navigation: Utilization of essential European tools including eTwinning, SELFIE, EPALE, ESEP, and the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.
  • Practical Activity: Analysis of the Programme Guide and deconstruction of past successful project results.
Module 2:
Project Architecture – Logical Framework & Webform
  • LFA Fundamentals: Application of the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) and target group identification methods.
  • Administrative Setup: Navigation of the Webform Application structure, OID code registration, and submission requirements.
  • AI Tool Integration: Utilization of custom AI prompts and tools to streamline project design workflows.
  • Practical Activity: Drafting of an initial Logical Framework matrix based on institutional needs.
Module 3:
Section “Background” & Institutional Context
  • Context Mapping: Profiling of school background, institutional numbers, local stakeholders, and prior European experience.
  • Priority Alignment: Translation of baseline school needs into project goals aligned with horizontal Erasmus+ priorities.
  • Practical Activity: Writing and reviewing the Background section using approved project samples as reference models.

  • Activity Selection: Identification of eligible mobility formats for learners, teachers, and school staff.
  • Budget Planning: Application of lump-sum budget mechanics, financial planning, and cost calculation rules.
  • Partner Definition: Setting host partner selection criteria and participant recruitment procedures.
  • Practical Activity: Structuring of mobility activity plans and setup of preliminary budget outlines.
Module 6:
Section “Follow-Up”, Quality Standards & Evaluation Simulation
  • Follow-Up Strategy: Design of impact measurement, curricular integration, dissemination, and long-term sustainability plans.
  • Quality Standards: Alignment with official Erasmus+ Quality Standards throughout the proposal.
  • Practical Activity: Simulation of a National Agency Evaluation to critique draft proposals and fix critical points before submission.
