Tourism is vital to the Mediterranean economy, yet small and medium-sized enterprises in this sector are highly vulnerable to crises such as pandemics, natural disasters, and political instability. ReTour supports the transformation of Mediterranean tourism by equipping local businesses with advanced technologies – such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and smart sensors – and sustainable practices. With partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon and Türkiye, the ReTour project will help over 150 businesses improve efficiency, crisis preparedness, and sustainability. It aims to ensure the sector can thrive even in uncertain times, securing jobs and enhancing the tourism experience for all.

Obiettivi di ReTour

Rafforzare le piccole imprese turistiche attraverso strategie innovative e tecnologie avanzate che migliorino efficienza, adattabilità e resilienza a lungo termine alle crisi.
Incrementare le competenze digitali e imprenditoriali dei lavoratori del turismo e supportare le imprese nell’adozione di pratiche sostenibili e orientate al futuro per restare competitive.

Innovation Hub: a platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration across sectors, boosting MSMEs’ access to cutting-edge solutions & expertise.
Piani personalizzati di implementazione tecnologica per supportare le imprese nell’adozione di strumenti smart.
Casi pilota che valutano l’applicazione reale di tecnologie avanzate.
Piattaforma di formazione e apprendimento online con certificazione per operatori e imprenditori del turismo.
Report di raccomandazioni di policy regionali per allineare le strategie e promuovere un turismo sostenibile.
Sfide di innovazione virtuali e scambi transfrontalieri per favorire nuove idee e partnership.
